SOMETIMES IT SURPRISES YOU

Caleb thought he was joining a mastermind to grow his business.

And he is growing his business—refining strategy, solving problems, sharing wins. But something unexpected is happening too.

In this business fable I am writing, Caleb is meeting people—
– Like Grace, a startup founder and aerospace engineer who shared a question, “Am I building something that will matter?
– Like Pete, a retired furniture maker and current land developer who opens the first session Caleb experiences of the mastermind with Scripture and wisdom from a life well-lived.
– And like Nathan, who simply listens, then asks questions that cuts through the fog.

Caleb is learning that growth doesn’t just come from information—it comes from connection. It’s not only about what he can gain, but how he can give, receive, reflect, and be sharpened by others.

Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

That’s what’s happening in this group. Not just business advice—but transformation. Not just network—but community.

If you’ve ever longed for people who challenge you, encourage you, and help you become more of who God made you to be… you are not alone.

Find your circle. Your iron. Your sharpening.

Because the business you’re building matters—but the person you’re becoming matters more.
