MEET NATHAN – THE FRIEND WHO INVITES WITHOUT FIXING

Nathan is not the loudest voice in the story, Profit Seeks Purpose, a short business fable I am writing to answer the question many of us ask, “Is there more?”

He’s not the hero of the story. But he plays a role some of us are called to: He is the one who invites.

Nathan is a few steps ahead of Caleb, the main character. He’s already part of the group of entrepreneurs into which he invites Caleb. He’s walked long enough to know that transformation doesn’t come through pressure but through presence.

When Caleb questions the meaning of his success, Nathan doesn’t lecture or push. He simply says, “Come and see.”

As the story unfolds, we witness Nathan’s personal growth. He transitions from a mentor to a brother, from a steady guide to a fellow struggler. His quiet encouragement becomes a pivotal moment, not just for Caleb, but for the entire group.

In a world full of noise, Nathan shows us the power of a faithful friend who listens, prays, and invites others into deeper purpose.
